 Manar is a thought leader who explores the culture, society, artistic landscape, media, and creative industries of the GCC and wider Arab world through the written word .Her words have appeared in: National Geographic, CNN, BBC, Sekka, The National, Middle East Institute Washington and more. 




Manar enjoys penning literary fiction in English and Arabic.




Manar co-founded Sekka, an independent media brand based in London that she built to reach millions of readers over the years. She also co-founded the Khaleeji Art Museum, the first digital museum dedicated to art of the Arab Gulf states showcasing works by over 100 pioneering and emerging artists.



A sought after tastemaker, and cultural expert, Manar served as a curator for multiple art and cultural events, publications, across the region.

Manar is the recipient of multiple awards in recognition of her work and is often invited to speak and come onboard as a moderator at key events.
