Manar Al Hinai is an award-winning Emirati writer, branding, marketing, and communications consultant, and entrepreneur.

Her words have appeared in international media outlets such as: CNN, BBC, Vogue, The National, Entrepreneur, and more. She is also a novelist and the author of The Man In The White Sandals.

Manar served as a senior vice president and director of corporate communication and CSR at Abu Dhabi Investment Company. She is the founder of Sekka Media Group, and the Storyteller-in-Chief of Sekka Magazine, the Arab Gulf States’ first online publication narrated and managed by the youth of the region. She is also the co-founder of the Khaleeji Art Museum, a digital museum experience, raising awareness about emerging talents from the Arab Gulf States region and the wider Arab World.

Through Sekka Media Group, previously known as Move Consultancy, Manar and her team worked alongside global brands, and advising them on the best strategies to reach the Arab audience.

Manar is a public speaker, thought leader, and an expert on content creation and communication strategy to reach the region’s youth audience. She holds a master’s degree in Diversity Management from the University of Leeds, England, and is the first Arab to hold a degree in this field. She pursued further degrees and certifications from SOAS London, University fo Pennsylvania, Yale School of Management, and NorthWestern University. 

Manar is the recipient of the Arab Woman Award, and have been nominated as one of the most inspirational people in the UAE in 2012, and 2014.
